"Live Free or Die" is the motto of the state of New Hampshire - mainly now it refers to the fact that there's no sales tax in that state, but I think a long time ago it referred to the Revolutionary War against those British tyrants....

So last week Griffin and I flew up to New Hampshire to visit Steve's family in Claremont, NH. It was a great visit with his Nana and Papa, as well as his Aunt Lynn and Uncle Mark, and cousins Rylee, Olivia and Brady! Steve's Aunt Jude treated Griffin to many wonderful stories.

We also got to visit some family on my dad's side, including my late grandmother's sister-in-law, Charlotte, and my dad's cousins Diane, Michael and Ellen, and Kathi.

And Mr. Wanderlust's first plane ride went great! Except for the very end of the flight on the way home, when he had a minor meltdown, rendering me feeling like "that woman, the one with the screaming baby..." Luckily most of the people around us were really sweet, and Griffin rewarded them with a huge smile and giggles as we got off the plane.
...Just a warm-up for that trip to Pakistan... or not.
