The question we keep getting of course, is where are we headed to next? Well, for the moment, we don't know yet. We have a few leads on some job possibilities but nothing concrete yet, and since we had planned to enjoy the holidays here in the States, we only got serious job searching not too long ago. And we're finding it to be a long, slow process. The good news is that there seems to be a lot out there for what we do (and we get excited with each resume we send out, with the possibility of a new cool adventure), it will just take some time to find the right thing for us. And it's easy to be comfy here, snug as a bug in a rug at my folks' house where we seem to be getting tons of snow every day. In the meantime, we're enjoying normal, American things like going to story time at the library, swimming lessons at the YMCA, and baby group play time with a few friends and their babies. We also plan to take a few short trips within the US (despite our original plan of big international travel) while we're here, to visit friends we don't get to see as often. Of course it's not guaranteed that we'll go overseas again, but right now it's what we'd like to do, as we both really love the work we do, we very much still have the wanderlust bug, and also like the idea of raising Griffin with a variety of international experiences.
