The week before St. Patrick's Day, Baltimore had a big parade downtown. Before the parade, there was a kids event near the harbor, which consisted of a live singer doing kids music, and some arts and crafts for older kids. They also had hats and green beads for everyone. And best of all, a bar and a bartender serving beer, wine and mimosas just in the kids area! My kind of event! Did I mention I love living in the city?? Griffin was a bit groggy from the time change I guess, but still managed to dance a bit. After the kids event, we stayed for the parade, since Griffin fell asleep in the stroller. It was wonderful to watch the parade and be home in the US for this classic taste of Americana. I loved it! (could also have been the regular supply of mimosas all day that helped....)

Griffin's friend Emma Ramsay
Meghan and Emma
A whole crowd of neighborhood kids and parents listening to the music
Cool green beads! With Griffin's other friend Bridget in the background
Hat!Hat!
This guy was clearly the guy who sings in Irish Pubs by night- he clearly could tell that many of the parents there had frequented those types of establishments back in the day...
| Stroller valet. I'm not kidding! They had a security guard there who gave you a ticket and everything! | Only in the city... |
