Something to laugh about!

Griffin's had a rough couple of weeks (and so has his mommy) as my perfect 10-12 hrs a night angel sleeper has gone from Mr. Hyde to Dr. Jeckyll. Suddenly he refuses to go to bed (awake every 15-45mins) at bedtime and is up between 1-3 times a night. And lots of crying. Why is this happening and what can we do about it? Ask a million mothers (and doctors, and baby sleep book authors) and get a million answers! Anyway, we're plugging through it, and luckily I just finished working so I don't have to be all that coherent during the day. Which is good. Because I'm really not that coherent. :)

Fortunately for both of us, Griffin just gets cuter by the day. Here's a couple of cute pictures and a super funny video of Griffin laughing that our babysitter Kelly captured one day. Thanks to Amy and Meggie for the awesome bear hat. We're also very proud that we've discovered our feet now!!

Happy Halloween

Our little Tigger had a visit from Evangeline the Giraffe! We did just a little trick-or-treating to a few neighbors and were knackered in no-time!

Live Free or Die!!

"Live Free or Die" is the motto of the state of New Hampshire - mainly now it refers to the fact that there's no sales tax in that state, but I think a long time ago it referred to the Revolutionary War against those British tyrants.... So last week Griffin and I flew up to New Hampshire to visit Steve's family in Claremont, NH. It was a great visit with his Nana and Papa, as well as his Aunt Lynn and Uncle Mark, and cousins Rylee, Olivia and Brady! Steve's Aunt Jude treated Griffin to many wonderful stories.

We also got to visit some family on my dad's side, including my late grandmother's sister-in-law, Charlotte, and my dad's cousins Diane, Michael and Ellen, and Kathi.

And Mr. Wanderlust's first plane ride went great! Except for the very end of the flight on the way home, when he had a minor meltdown, rendering me feeling like "that woman, the one with the screaming baby..." Luckily most of the people around us were really sweet, and Griffin rewarded them with a huge smile and giggles as we got off the plane.
