This weekend my sister, Lindsay, and my nephew, Mason, drove up from Maryland to come for a visit. Mason is almost 5 years old, and loves dogs more than anything.
He called me himself to tell me he had chosen to come and visit me for the weekend instead of going to his school's picnic! Except that it became pretty clear that while I'm certainly a cool aunt, the real draw for the visit was meeting our two dogs, Portia and Bentley.
We had some great playtime in a field near our neighborhood (look how lovely and green and lush it is- we're loving suburbia in the spring for the moment!) and at home. You have to watch this video of 2 dogs completely fascinated by Mason's little marble set! Unfortunately, although I'm getting better at taking more photos (but not downloading them very promptly), I realized I didn't actually get any photos of my sister! Sorry Lindsay, next time!
