This weekend, Griffin gave us his first smile! Well, I should say he gave his Aunt Lynn, who was visiting, his first smile! We'd seen traces of it during the week prior, while he was sleeping, but this one was real! Luckily several of us were standing around her and saw it too.
Since then, however, no sign of it, except when he's sleeping and clearly dreaming of something....something funny? I wonder what babies dream about. Lately I dream about food (I am amazingly hungry all the time, just like being pregnant- they say its from nursing) and sometimes I have dreams like I'm off on a great vacation at the beach and it becomes a bad dream when I realize I've forgotten to feed Griffin! No chance of that, however, as this kid tells us loudly and ferociously when he's hungry! Here are some pictures of Aunt Lynn (Steve's sister) and some photos she took. In one of them, you can see a nice little "almost smile!"
