I've just finished my first two weeks of work and Steve about a week and a half. We found a nice nanny share arrangement with another family in the area, and so far that seems to be going okay too. Except for the part where she told us that Griffin doesn't know how to share! The other little boy is the same age as Griffin and apparently Griffin pushes him out of the way anytime he wants to play with the toys, pet Bentley, or get picked up by the nanny. I guess Mr. Griffin is going to have to learn that its not just the Griffin Show anymore! He seems to be having fun though, and a couple of days a week he gets to go to the other boys' house to play with a whole new set of toys. We also take lots of walks in the neighborhood, and live less than 2 blocks from the park, where I'm happy to report that Bentley has been a fantastic playmate to several new friend dogs- and not an ounce of trouble. Now that it seems that he's adjusting to city life pretty well, we'll probably bring Portia down to join him soon. Griffin also enjoys playing in the sandbox and swinging on the baby swings. Oh, and we're happy to report that we have found a permanent place to live, just a couple of blocks from where we are now, and we expect to move in mid-August. Anyone who wants to visit and help unpack is more than welcome!
Here are a couple of funny video clips I got of Griffin being silly with his firetruck and being crazy with his drumsticks!
What a beautiful baby! God bless, Griffin!
