In mid-september, Griffin, Steve and I spent 5 days in Ocean City, NJ with our friend Gretchen and her twin boys, William and Benjamin. The boys are exactly 3 months older than Griffin, though because they were preemies they look a little younger than 6 months. The good news is that this time when I touched Griffin's toes into the water he didn't scream!! During the trip, Griffin turned 3 months old. He's all about being 3 months now- going to sleep drowsy but awake on his own (most of the time) and slowly developing a natural sleep schedule. And all the newborn clothes (and even some of the 3 month clothes) have been packed away, because he's growing like a weed!Other 3 month old milestones are that he's moved out of the bassinet into the pack and play crib (have to order a mattress for the big crib), he's grabbing and holding onto things like toys and clothes, putting everything in his mouth, and talking, talking, talking up a storm!
