We had a very quiet Fourth of July here...still navigating the sleeping, feeding, diaper changing, crying thing..... But Steve, Griffin and I ventured out to dinner on the evening of the 4th and we had a nice sushi dinner with wine- two treats I missed having while pregnant. We didn't have enough energy to stay out until the fireworks started, but we watched them on TV instead. My mom had bought a cute outfit for Griffin and we wanted to show it off!
This pic is dedicated to Paula and Sharon, with whom I spent many a great stress-reducing lunch escape at our favorite Phuket sushi restaurant, but for 7+ months I had to only eat the cooked stuff!
