One month old!

Today Griffin is one month old! Sometimes it seems like just a wink of time, sometimes like an eternity. I am thankful though, that Steve is around full time to tag-team this parenting thing, as well as my mom, who does a lot of priceless evening "fussy time" duty as well as making sure we eat, have clean clothes, and all the rest of the good stuff! In the period since my last post (got stuck in a time warp for a bit there...), we've had Griffin in for several follow up check-ups with the pediatrician and hematologist, and everything's looking good! He's gaining weight well (97th percentile for height)and his platelets have remained steady. He's even sleeping really well at night- sometimes even 5 hour stretches between feedings! We're struggling a bit this week with a pretty robust fussy period, usually in the evening- but we've tried all the tricks and have just come to the conclusion that "its normal" and we have to just ride it out!
